Help! My palm has brown spots, how can I help it?
Comments (3)A general search on GW's search box at the top for scale will turn up all kinds of info,.. Here's a start! :) Here is a link that might be useful: Found this in the palm and cycad forum...See Morehelp me help my aloe plant
Comments (2)Get them out of full sun and don't water too much. They will grow without any direct sun and keeping them in sun will dry them out. If either has a chance, a bright window will do the trick without any direct sun. After they show new growth then you can put them back in direct sun. If you lose them I have hundreds and will make a trade or send for shipping. Since temps are now around freezing it will have to wait til spring though....See MoreBrown Spots on Aloe
Comments (3)9 years later lol... For future reference for anyone who ends up here searching for answers... Check your plant for bugs, they will likely be at the base of where the leaves meet and further into the soul. Left untreated it will kill your plant. Seclude your plant from others so it doesn't spread, use rubbing alcohol with a dab of fish soap in a sprayer or dab plant with alcohol. You can use Neem oil as well for treatment and prevention. This is the beginning of infestation. Hope this helps....See MoreBrown dry spots on Aloe Dichotoma
Comments (2)It does look like your aloe leaves are a little too thin, I would give it a little bit more water each time you water it. I was given a very thirsty aloe earlier this spring, and I gave it a bit of water each time and over the next couple of weeks the leaves slowly plumped back up. I also agree that it does look like sunburn. Maybe you could keep it in a spot where it gets a little less sun, and go from there. Is a beautiful looking aloe! I wish my local nursery sold plants like them. Grantgarden2...See MoreAbigail Adams
