I'm so tired I can't move

In the last 2 weeks...I packed up apartment...moved...unpacked. last Thursday drove to boyfriends shop to get car fixed. Friday got to work and was told our department was moving to New office area. Had 1 day to pack up everything. Monday went to work and unpacked everything.
I'm sore and tired....SO glad February is over with.

Oh,my, samkaren. Youve been exerting yourself for so many weeks. I hope you can find a way to totally unplug and rest, sleep. that’s so important. REST!

... All the time. I never seem to know when to stop, even with hubby calling out the door "Time to come in now". When it's hot I pin a pillow slip with crushed ice in it around my neck. When it gets dark I turn on the outside lights, but try to come in by 10 PM so the lights don't bother the neighbors. I'd rather be outside than inside any ole' day and gardening gives me an excuse to be there. Incidentally, for insect bites Bob happened to notice that HEB brand antibiotic ointment has a topical pain reliever in it so it stops the itch of mosquito bites very nicely. Maybe other brands have it too. Well, almost time to put the rolls in the oven. My computer is right next to the kitchen so it's easy to take a little rest from cooking in that chair :-) Wishing you all a blessed Easter Sunday ...

I would be excited too upon receiving that wonderful swap package! The berry bowls from our local potteries look a bit different, but the purpose is the same. Here in NC ours look more like colanders with cut-outs instead of holes and there is a shallow saucer that the bowl sits in to contain the water. That cookbook looks verrrrr-y interesting! Good job, Katie!

Almost 31 years of marriage with his and hers ranting. I learned it from my husband. We never even had a thought about not being married to each other. My hubby just vents that way, but if he doesn't stop within a few minutes, then it is my turn. Then it stops! Some people have a dry sense of humor. Some are trying to make jokes and be funny when they post. That is their sense of humor. It doesn't mean they can't have a rational and meaningful conversation with the other person in their life. Geez, let's lighten up! I doubt the OP is seriously angry with hubby. My mom's going to kill me! I'm so hungry I could eat a horse! I'm so angry I can't talk to my husband! Back to the backsplash tile hunt..... before I pull my hair out! (Another one.)

On my phone I can't type. Or rather I can, but then Houzz erases EVERYTHING. When I use voice recognition, it write almost what I say, but I can't edit without gobbledegoop coming up. It repeats the word multiple times.I think with Houzz's issues we need to cut people some slack. Sometimes a laptop isn't nearby or convenient when we just HAVE to respond to a post! I'm just happy people still love to garden. : ))

Plan to do both...rest and nap. Friday was so bad my legs were burning and my feet went totally numb. Took shoes off and massaged my feet until I could feel them. Took hot bath that night too.

Take another hot bath, and linger, with a cool drink. Remember to do some stretching, not in the bath of course. And take a brisk walk. And enjoy ALL your new digs!

You must be physically and mentally exhausting. Hope you can schedule a day off just for you when you can do nothing.

You're in my prayers, Samkaren. Hopefully you can schedule a day of rest soon, where you can just relax, sleep, do whatever you enjoy doing, for you.

I too am hoping your disruptions are done for a good long while. A little change can be good, but too much all at once is exhausting. Take it easy :-)

Not withstanding the fact that I'm old and sore and tired I don't think I have such a wonderful life...but that's a whole other issue. Thanks for your good thoughts though.
