Comments (18)We’ve had Hallmark floors for 5 years now - Ventura collection, Mangrove, while very beautiful and doesn't show scratches, I am going to replace it because of the lingering smell. The smell is akin to the plastic smell when you open a new shower curtain. We notice it when we walk in the house and it’s in our bedding and clothes. I suspect it has to do with their proprietary ”Nu-Oil” UV baked staining/sealing. I’ve been researching and apparently the chemical limonene has a plastic smell but it seems near impossible to find out exactly what the flooring is composed of.
