Floor to ceiling wainscoting in a dark room - greige, white, cream.. ?

I am having a carpenter install some floor to ceiling wainscoting (flat panel molding) in my den. I'm super excited, but also stumped on the color.

This room has a single window facing North. It is currently "Pashmina" by Benjamin Moore and I LOVE it.

My first thought was to paint the entire wainscoting + crown + ceiling Pashmina, but I'm wondering if I need to treat it more like trim and paint it white.

The walls were Alabaster at one point, but we repainted to Pashmina, as white didn't feel right in this room.

Do we think in a semi-gloss on a nice millwork profile white will feel better?

We have existing wood paneling on the ceiling (painted "SW Black Fox").

My whole house trim is "SW Alabaster", bottom floor walls are "White Duck."

I think I have three options (maybe ya'll have more suggestions?)

- Pashmina wall, alabaster ceiling

- Pashmina wall and ceiling

- White duck wall, alabaster ceiling

- White duck wall and ceiling

- Alabaster wall and ceiling

- ???

What do ya'll think?
