It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. -Arthur Conan Doyle, physician and writer (22 May 1859-1930)

I'm pretty sure I've posted this before, but it always makes me laugh, so here it is again. Rusty

Two of the questions in drewsmaga's post are easily answered. 4/ The "W"- back in the day, the letter "U" was written as a "V". This evolved from Roman inscriptions, a "V" is a lot easier to bang out with a chisel than a curvy "U". It was still pronounced as "U". Eventually the discrete "U" was adopted. 2/ People did not evolve from monkeys. People and monkeys evolved from a common ancestor. One branch of the family became people, a different branch became monkeys.

Good ones, today - thanks, folks, and nicole. ole ... (forgot to hit "space" so) Eta: "joyful"
