what rug should I pair with this couch?

Just got this couch from Ashley and we just recently got our floors redone. Looking to get an 8x10 for the living room and not sure what style or color! Any thoughts?

We like neutral for the most part but I’m open!
The couch reads grey from far away but up close its beige/ivory pattern

*ignore the coffee table that will be gone!

Hopefully the sectional will be turned or the TV moved before you do any further decorating

One option to go with existing colors Ivory and Gray. Make TV as focal point. So move sectional facing the TV.

Thank you all so much for your input and the wonderful photo's. I went on a "wild goose chase" Clematis hunting but found nothing of interest.Went to a local nursery, Earl May Garden Center, Lowe's and Home Depot and they had just the general line they usually carry so I think I may go another direction back to the garden center that I got Venosa. At that time they had a Florida Sieboldii but I didn't buy it since I thought it was a type 2 and now I find that is is considerd type 3. Just a note to mention that my Etoile Violette is growing like gangbusters but the Polish Spirit does not seem to have the same vigor,however, they are in different locations.

I need to check on mine today Gary. My male is fairly skittish, and he like to do a big "fly in your face to intimidate you" kinda thing. I never get bombed by the birds in my yard, and I think it's because I am out there so much. This particular male though is skittish, and it really worries him for me to actually touch his box! He is fine as long as I don't touch it. :o) I may take my step stool and an umbrella out so that it's easier on him and me!! I will let you know. Mine should be hatched out by today if all is going well.~~Angie

What kind of couch/color couch should I get?

That TV is so high up that I think you'll find it very uncomfortable. Ideally, you should be able to look at the TV straight on without tilting your head up or down (otherwise, you can cause major neck issues down the road). Would you be open to putting your TV where that mirrored cabinet currently is? That way, you could lay out your couch and chairs basically the same way it's done in these photos above.

Yes!!! Changing drapes :) wanted to find rug before I changed them. I want them to be lighter it feels so heavy!!! This is living room which is open concept to kitchen and dining room. Similar palettes through out, black, white

Ahh, ok, maybe a rug with a more modern feel and black? This is a fairly new Loloi rug, I really like the colors and texture, and sort of sophisticated vintage contemporary feel:
