This is way off-topic, but could you please lower the picture over the sofa so that it's about 6 to 8 inches above the back? That has to be the most common mistake that people make. Also, is that contraption behind the stove necessary? It actually detracts from the view. The same is true of the series of pictures above the table, they're much too high and the lamp (I'm sorry, its color doesn't go with anything else in the room) should also be hung much lower. Your room would look more open without the metal decoration to the left of the stove. I don't want to offend, but I love to "fix" rooms, and these are suggestions that any interior decorator would make. You have a nice room and the view of course is absolutely stunning, which puts you ahead of the vast majority of people.

I see this languishing way down on the Design Dilemma queue. That's not good. There is something so wonderful about the light spaciousness of that room that I'd suggest you go for a very light grey -- I think cool will work better with the blue-green range of colours you are thinking of. White trim. I was thinking it might be best to decide on the fireplace when your furniture is in and the walls are painted, but I suspect carrying the wall cover over it will work best, because it really is a rather imposing chunk, isn't it? Not sure about the aqua ceiling .... I'd like to hear others' opinions about that.

I don’t love the dining table it looks a bit light in the space , I find the lamp in the LR a bit large scaled for the sofa and you need a lot more lighting . Maybe George Nelson lights above the table but I would like to see a wood base on the table with some teak chairs maybe. I think the LR pieces are awesome and I think I would reupholster in the same colors . I think with a bit of a hunt you can find better art though. Now that you have gone down the rabbit hole

The look of the little table works with the space. A pair of comfortable wood chairs with separate cushions you can change out is all you really need unless you're spending a lot of time sitting in them -- on the computer or visiting with a friend ... then you might want chairs with more upholstery and more cushion comfort. If you're choosing the plain wood chairs, make sure the wood back is made of the wider flat boards that are curved ( rather than vertical round dowels ). Have had both and the flat curved boards will be a lot more comfortable. I like the high back for extended sitting and these kinds of seats are comfortable and easily covered when need to be changed.
