Neo-Victorian Ceiling and Floor Makeover Help
Comments (1)Hi Pam, I think some sort of tile for the entry and tin or anaglypta wallpaper with the appearance of tin for the living room ceiling would be my recommendations....See MoreRecipe help: Hash browns, eggs, cheddar and cottage cheese...?
Comments (4)All recipes have a couple that sound similar. The great thing about hash brown casserole is that it is very forgiving and you can substitute and leave out stuff and it really doesn't matter. Below is the link for "Breakfast Pie" and then here is another link for "Amish breakfast casserole". http://allrecipes.com/recipe/amish-breakfast-casserole/detail.aspx By the way, you can often buy the frozen hash browns with the peppers and onions mixed in if you don't want to chop everything yourself. And I would like to add.. it's nice to see hash brown casserole recipes that don't use Cambell's soup as a sauce! Here is a link that might be useful: Breakfast Pie...See MoreHeirloom Gardens No Longer Open to Public. Sales Cottage Torn Down.
Comments (30)Seems the gardens were renovated by the Hannas since they took over Heirloom. A post by Noseometer last June with photos shows how lovely they looked then. http://forums2.gardenweb.com/discussions/3974860/visit-to-heirloom-roses?n=6 Wonder if the "20% more blooms" claim might be in comparison to RMV virused plants? Heirloom is one of few suppliers that make the effort to offer virus indexed/virus free roses. That's important to me. Three sets of roses from Heirloom arrived here in May from sales, all well grown with roots throughout the gallon pots. (Bands from that sale landed mid-March, have outgrown the gallon pots into which they were transplanted & are overdue for bumping up into larger pots.) The first two came in full leaf - my strong preference. The last, shipped out two days after the middle set, had their leaves stripped off at Heirloom & pushed out replacements in transit just like yours, Lilyfinch. Parked in bright shade on the front porch to keep an eye on them, they greened up quickly & put out new growth. Same has been true for others previously shipped in the hot months. All the UPS Ground shipments from Heirloom take 7-8 days to get here - longer than I'd like, too. Yet the roses don't seem bothered by it, even in the high heat of last August or the cold of March. While some nurseries stop shipping for the Summer season, Heirloom keeps going for those of us who don't choose to wait. Pros & cons - yet all their roses have done exceptionally well for me. Comments (33)Because your house is traditional, you may want to do something has a little more detail than a full shaker door, which is currently being used in almost every contemporary kitchen as well. It doesn't have to be much This is inset and has a paneled drawer, which you don't necessarily have to do, but the door has an extra detail which differentiates it a bit from the standard shaker...See MoreMcarter348
