As you can see, the exterior of our house needs repainting. It is happening next week and seeing as though it is an expensive task that I have to live with for a long time, I would appreciate any advice/suggestions on colours. Because I like colorbond ocean blue and I do live at the beach, I was thinking of it for the roof gutters and I would like the house in a light/white colour. The colours I have considered are surfmist, white dune half, and white duck quarter (paint has to be dulux). I have absolutely no idea and I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions on the colours. My house is approx 20 years old with beige window frames, so should they be matched? The front door will be replaced eventually but not this minute. Thank you.

I'm not a professional so take the ideas for what they're worth. :) Looks like your windows are framed in white? How about painting the window trim white (it might make the windows look larger). Carry the white trim wherever you have the dark blue trim. The light blue siding would look pretty in a light to medium gray (and wouldn't clash with the roof). The door could be painted a pretty pop of color. I'm a big fan of red doors. It doesn't have to be fire engine red. Looks like you have a plant near the door with reddish blooms. If your siding can be painted, you can choose the color you want. Love the house, love Spanish style. I’m in So Cal so see a lot of them, but Im not a pro. I will say, dont do black windows or black trim. oh sooooo trendy. Please keep the trim and windows to a brown or even a dark brown. For me personally, I like a warm creamy white (for the exterior).
