Where I grew up, before all the changes my Dad and the new owners made. It was wee little. There were 2 bedrooms on the left with a wall of closets in between that were so narrow, you couldn't fit the hangers in straight, but had to go sideways...the little bump on the right was the smallest room, the former dining room that became my room with no closet at all. The bathroom was so small, you could wash your hands at the sink while sitting on the pot. Dad added an addition to the right... a side by side split ... doing all the work himself ... a family room downstairs and 3 bedrooms and a bath upstairs. Took him 5 years to complete, working night shift so he could work on the house during the daytime. Hardest working man I ever knew. Even cast his own cement blocks, made his own molding, and dug the septic tank and dry wells by hand.

Last summer a lot of tiny cute tree frogs landed on potted rose trees on 2nd floor decking at our weekend place in PA. I have never seen a tree frog in NY.
