Any ideas for exterior for this outdated 1960s home?

Located in Phoenix so that's why everything is so brown and dry. Budget is extremely tiny so all I can really change is paint, light fixture, and adding/removing shrubbery. Front exterior is north facing so picture is accurate with how much light that area gets all day. Roof is darker in person (dark grey), the sun is just beaming very brightly on it. Someone painted some of the bricks the same color as the house, that's why certain bricks look patchy.

Left front section is an open car port, the window to the right of that is a bedroom. The wide window is for the living room. I would love to get rid of that awning on the window but I'm sure it will be too expensive for me right now. It just seems like an unnecessary feature for a room that doesn't get much sun.

Everything feels off about the colors but mostly the shutters. They're just randomly dark brown. White doors, black mailbox, dark grey roof, beige walls, yellowish eggshell gable (I think that's the right term?)

Help please! I'm so lost on what to do.
