Septic System: Toilet Issues? Need Advice Please!!

I'm on Septic - Outgoing/City Water - Incoming. Located in Maryland. Septic Tank was flushed Feb 2021. Two residents.

Oil Heat. Older home (1962). Septic Tank Replaced 2010.

BKGRND: Have been using cold water for most things mostly bc oil is so expensive here.

Recently, toilet takes a few flushes for solids with waiting in-between before all solids finally go down completely. This is a new problem - have never had this issue. Usually one flush does it.

Could the reason be clogged pipes from not using enough hot water in other drains? Hot water is reserved for showers and baseboard heat (68 degrees).

Could I fix with a regimen of heating hot water to pour down all sink/tub drains? Should I add any 'Dawn' soap?

How do I keep toilet drains clear/maintained?

Have snow/ice on ground and temps have been 20s-30s. No exterior signs of leakage.

Looking forward to reading experienced/professional advice.

Really appreciate the helpful advice! TIA!!
