Good idea of extra lights. I would add panel curtains from ceiling to floor, some side tables with lamps or decor, some green plant on the left corner may be.

Since you plan to watch TV here you might need some curtains to help with glare. I would put a plant (ficus or palm) right of the FP and a ladder rack for quilts/throws on the left side. Hang the bigger piece of art 5" above the sofa and the smaller ones might work in a vertical stack centered 5' above the floor on the wall where you have the big one leaning. Add a floor lamp on this end of the right side sofa, and pull the two chairs together so they are centered on the firebox opening. Since they can't reach the coffee table, you might add "C" tables that just slip under the outside arms and hang over them for a place to put drinks. They can also be pulled in front to use for a laptop or a snack.

It is difficult to say without your art on the wall.

Right now it is dullsville as far as color is concerned.

I would suggest more throw pillows picking up the colors in your art.

From what I can see ( which is not very well) you might want pillows that have the blue, green and red.

I would have two square pillows at each end of the sofa and a lumbar pillow in the middle, and a square pillow on each of the chairs.

I am not convinced about the throw pillows you have on the sofas now, did you select them or did they come with the sofas?

As I said, I can't see the art well, but I don't see how the teal -colored throws work with your room, but maybe when the art is hung I will see the teal in the art, I dunno.

Your room is struggling to try to house this much furniture. Everything looks very tight.

It looks crowded to me. Maybe the C tables instead of the coffee table? Or a skinnier coffee table with less visual impact, like glass. Maybe remove one sofa and place the chairs against the window wall?

You'll need some curtain panels for your widow or the room will always look 'in progress.' Be careful how you hang them..some people suggest the craziest things!!!

I think you need to move/repurpose either one of the sofas or the two chairs. The room looks way too crowded. Then consider the suggestions offered above and add things in gradually until it looks right to you. No need to overdo. You're almost there! :-)

If you insist on the two couches, then get rid of the two chairs. A skinny bench-like coffee table might then work between the couches. The coloring in the art seems very harsh to me unless you bring those colors into better and more decorative pillows. Yes, you need lamps, but there’s so much jammed in this space now, it’s hard to suggest more. Agree on drapery panels. If it were my room, I’d get rid of one couch and get a long console for the long wall, moving the tv to a few inches above the console.

The artwork is lovely.

When you put them on the wall and show us, I can get a better idea of color suggestions for your space with the current furniture.

I don't think you have too much furniture in there unless the chairs are right up against the sofas.

I am not seeing the teal throws in there yet.

But if you had to move them to another room and get new ones that isn't a tragedy.

I think for your throw pillows some should be predominantly green, then blue, with touches of red.

Others should be predominantly blue , then green, with touches of red.

Or a knit with all three colors woven in.

Depends how much red you want in there.

And for the back of the pillow you can do a solid color velvet in a cotton velvet, a velveteen.

Here are some fabrics I found, they won't all fit here, I will continue in a second post.

^ Chenille

I love this chenille. Of course, the texture of chenille is so soft, and the stripes are so interesting. The colors are perfect. It has the green of the grass, the blue of the sky and the red-orange of the poppies and the leaves and the yellow that is also in the grassy field and in the leaves. Do two of these.

^ Velvet

This ^ would be my third pick. Of course velvet is always scrumptious in a pillow, and I would choose this for the lumbar pillow. I don't know it is sold, but I would lay it out so the black rectangles run vertically on the pillow. Do two of these.

^ I love this, it is velvet, it has all the colors of your art, and it is a bit wild, but you are only going to do it in a 20 inch square or may be a 24" square, so I think you can handle it, and imagine how it will brighten your space!

It picks up the blue sky, the purple lavender, the green grass, the red poppies and red leaves, the orange leaves.

You can back it with which ever of these colors you like in velveteen.

I would do two of these.

For a throw I would hand knit something predominantly off-white and add in a thread of blue, red, orange, mossy green. Buy an inexpensive skein of those colors and just cut lengths of those and cast on one color piece of a few feet and when you get close to the end tie on another color and so on.

Michael's and Jo-Ann's have inexpensive pom-pom kits and you can make fluffy big pom-poms that look professional for the corners or medium sized one for all along the two ends if that is the look you like and your animals won't go crazy with them.

Unless you can find one to purchase that is exactly what you want.

I love your choices but one sofa too many. Put the TV across from the window flanked with the two chairs.
