Memorable earthquake....for me anyway...lol
Comments (7)Moving from NE to CA, I had never felt an earthquake before either. Our first one was a week after my son was born. Him and I were sitting in the rocking chair, and it starting shaking side to side, Ilooked across the room and noticed that his swing was also going side to side. We lived about 70 miles from the epicenter that time, DH was at work which was about 50 miles closer to it... he said his desk actually slid about 3-4 inches across the room! It was a big laugh for all of us, we called everyone back home to let them know that we'd had one and that it was no where near as bad as a tornado! Speaking of tornados, did anyone watch the "Oklahoma's Fury" show the other night? I know most you talked about the May 3rd tornado earlier, they had footage of that one...WOW!!!! Watching that show really helped me understand why that is so memorable. We all just sat there in shock that mother nature could cause so such destruction. It seems like Moore and the surrounding areas have recovered and rebuilt very quickly. Again, the resilance and strength of Oklahomans at work!...See MoreI needed a laugh after this day!
Comments (8)Bobby, I've been there on the stalking guy. Oh I was good enough to date for a very long time, but he never really wanted to marry, as though I was some sort of secret. We did finally get engaged, but I broke it off. Then he'd pop up saying, he was "in the neighborhood" when he worked one county away and lived two away. I finally struck where it hurt the most, I called his dad. His dad didn't like me, but that didn't matter. I told him to keep his son away from me. He stayed away for more than a decade after that. Now he attends my church (I live in Nashville, and attend church in Goodlettsville. With ???? millions of churches here, the chance of him coming to this church???). And he's joined. It's the second most private place one can have. I'm beside myself, but I'm not leaving the church I've attended for years and known the pastor for more than 20 years. My family goes there. What do I do? Who knows. I think death is all that will stop them forever. But that's illegal. I love that you got wind of the new guy's stupidity and got rid of him quick. You've learned. We're lucky when we stop the cycles. You'll get a better one. And enjoy your chicken strips in the meantime! Live your life well, that's the best revenge. :)...See MoreToday’s photos
Comments (7)Ok the label picture didn’t post, but I have one. Anyway, Steve I think you’re correct. I have a picture of it from last year and it did send up one really tall brach with lavender and white striped flowers. There is also one photo in the library that looks just like my plant, color and leaf shape. So thanks much!!...See MoreThis made me laugh
Comments (21)I 100% agree with what Chisue posted, if you want something to carry around like this, have a kid. Why would anyone do this to a cat anyway, for attention? It looks terribly uncomfortable and unhealthy for cats to be forced into a position like this, except for the backpack Richard_Vero Beach posted....See Morepudgeder
