Vladimir that is awesome. I think here it has a lot to do with the really cold august and then BAM, all the sudden really hot. Must have tricked the trees somehow I think. Just hoping they will not suffer when moving in the house next week.

Here I am gentlemen! Lol Wow amazing Bob! What varieties of pummelo do you have? The one that I am dying to add in my collection is the valentine pummelo. I heard that they are very amazing but no one seems to carry this variety now. I wish that Laura will comment on this variety one day. I remember that she has one and I always love to read her comment fruit comparison. Bob, love your jaboticaba and I am very happy with mine. I read everywhere that they are supposed to be slow grower but mine grows non stop since I bought it. Is it because I use holly tone like you and they love it? Oh also, do you use holly tone with your citrus and avocado too? I never had luck with mango trees until a few weeks ago I gave them some holly tone. Believe it or not it’s now bursting with new growths! Youhou!! Brian, you are so humble! All your trees are gorgeous no matter what you do!! Brian, did you try any of your gold nugget so far? Mine is finally picking up in growth after two years of struggling. Are you happy to get a little bit of rain? Finally, right? My rain barrel was almost empty! have a nice week end everyone!

Wow Bob that is huge! My valentine tree has not grown much - it is pretty weak I think. Frankly I’m now thinking maybe they sent me the wrong kind when I ordered like two years ago from that nursery - one green world. I’m annoyed because I have another tree from them that was supposed to be a pearl tangelo, and it is obviously not. It has several oranges for the first time, but they are not tangelos, but the Vaniglia blood orange I’m not so fond of. The valentine tree has leaves that look an awful lot like wekiwa tangelo and now that I think about it, it tasted like it too. That’s very annoying! I guess those are two more I can re-home!

Thanks Dave; No fruit or flowers yet. This tree was grafted 6-22-2021 and was grown vigorously though the winter to get a 'large' tree in 1.25 years. The parent tree died as a fruit was ripening. It was close enough ripe to have some promising flavors.
