Thank you all so much. Re the "packaged" picture frame. I got the idea from an office decorating contest we had at work. The contest was not so much the quality of the decorating, but which one looked the most "Christmasy". The winners had decorated every single item in their office, including stuff on the walls. They covered the art work with gift wrap and bow, and that was my inspiration. (mine is actually a picture of some lilies). luvs, re the opened package, LOL! The gift was from a friend who wanted to see me open it!

Your link points to the lights on Amazon and the heading says "Long Lasting for Christmas Tree and Room Decorations." However, after reading some reviews, I am not sure you will get what is advertised. I bought a small set at BBB for an outside planter. Now after reading the reviews about "weatherproof", I am going to make sure that my light cord and plug in are in a plastic baggie and hidden well under foliage.

When selecting the ideal color temperature for lighting, our Design Team typically starts at both the style and decor of the room. Homes with a more traditional style, featuring dark woods and earth tones tend to look best with the warmer white (anywhere around 3000K), while more modern spaces tend to look better with the more fluorescent looking cool white light (closer to 6000K). Contemporary kitchens, or those with a lot of white can benefit from a more neutral white (around 4000K). That said, it is also important to keep color temperatures consistent throughout your home. If your kitchen is already fitted with traditional incandescent bulbs, the warm white will likely match better, while cool white will look better alongside fluorescent bulbs. If you love the blue, then a sapphire sofa in velvet would not be amiss.....add a pair of lounge chairs in a bright turquoise, hot pink, bright orange, neon yellow. I think a rug in grey and white would add brightness and block some of the dark flooring. Large modern are with your room colors would be great....it if often suggested on Houzz that large art can be hung and then all the colors taken from the art work an be used to design the room. A lot of white works nicely with silver and cream. Keep the grey but add two colors all over the room Cherry red with black white grey accents Subtle yellow/cream/honey and white Lime and grey and white Tres chic if you like traditional Bright blue sofa with pop of orange.
