I wish I knew. I am always looking at stuff online and that is where I found it. I will try to find it for you. It was rounded instead of flat and very shallow. Dare I say pretty? I was kicking myself for not seeing it before this top brace went in. It's not bad it's just that our shower guy wasn't the best...he had to come back three times and my husband is the one who finally fixed. When it was first installed the door was so tight it would screech when you opened it, sort of scary. Then he had the piece remade and went overkill in the other direction so that it had 1/4" or more gap and water just streamed out during a shower as the head unfortunately faces the door. I did not want this bull in a china shop guy here any more as he always seemed to ruin something else on his way out so that is why my husband fixed it. He centered the door so that there is equal distance on each side but it's still not right. OY VEY! All the while this shower door guy is telling me what a master he is at what he does. I installed my solid surface shower walls over drywall, not even greenboard, and put the custom solid surface pan over the wood subfloor. If you leave an 1/8" between wall corners and pump them full of color matched silicone, it allows for panel movement without leaking. Another of the advantages of solid surface in the shower, besides lack of grout to maintain, is the labor and material savings of waterproofing. Plus the foolproofery.

Tonya Sample: I never got an answer, but I just ended up waterproofing around the perimeter of the mud pan a few inches and also sealed and waterproofed the gap using the fabric. Everything seems good. It's been 2 years.

It seems every bad tiling post has a comment from the contractor along these lines when the work is questioned, "this is all okay and I have been doing bathrooms for 30 years." Yeah, doing it badly for 30 years and leaving mold in your wake. The next comment from him will be, "I've never had a call back to fix it." Yeah, because no one wants you back in the house when you screwed up the first time! Honestly, this is the issue with home improvement, you can't rely on people to do what is correct, you have to learn the terminology, the requirements for proper install, etc. Otherwise, how would you know if it's completed correctly? We pay a professional because we don't know how to do it, but we end up having to learn anyway. Good luck, OP.
