what dining chairs to go with this table?

Hey all, I got this dining table:
And looking for dining chairs to go with. I’m looking for something modern and contemporary but having trouble finding oak legs and if not oak legs, then something to match. My partner doesn’t like the wishbone stye chairs either. Thanks!

The table has a really muscular right-angled solidity to it. It’s wonderful... but I think that means you need some color and curves with the chairs! Judy’s suggestion seems to me like it matches too much with the table and doesn’t jnfuse life. I think the red west elm suggestion is a great one. Hello @anngalla The Willoughby table is a large dining table that comes with an industrial design and exquisite carvings on the base. As the tabletop is pretty plain, it can go well with slatted-back wooden chairs. You can also opt to keep a bench on one side and have more room to move around. Another option is to have chairs with solid wood seats and metal backs or vice versa to match the industrial style and to bring in a vintage look to your dining room. If you love the transitional style, you can choose nude tone color block accent chairs with arms. However, ensure that the upholstery of the chairs matches the color of the dining area. Placing chairs with rattan backs can be a great option too, and trust us these chairs will match not just with the dining table but will be in sync with the existing interior design.

Can you show the room? We don’t know anything about your style, colors, rest of house, etc. What light fixture is in the room? Any other furniture in there? Is it open to your kitchen? Do you have kids?

Hey Jinx, things currently look like this 😅 AKA under construction. We have a blank slate. This is a photoshop render of items I have purchased for my living room, to give you a sense of style as well as color of the wood floors.

Nice! I’m liking the suggestion of gray or black chairs after seeing your photos, for contrast. I’m not sure of budget, but Overstock, Wayfair, etc are having really good holiday sales right now.

Your table looks very neutral, should mix well with nearly anything.
