Sigh. My hair just seems to be getting thinner and thinner. I have actually been entertaining the thought of Rogaine. Also thought of maybe getting a perm for body. I think I am going bald in spots actually. Maybe I will try the Aveda. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for thinking of me-- and this is so perfectly timed! I hit the Aveda site earlier today when I saw a promo or email for the sale. I started looking at the products and just got a little overwhelmed with so many new products-- they all sound like miracle workers but I hadn't heard much buzz about them so wasn't sure if I wanted to believe their claims and give them a try.

I too use the tonic (maybe on your recommendation, Outside?!) I have used it for a number of years -- and still do --but it doesn't work as well now that my hair is lonnng. I think the foam may work better for me. I also need a better conditioner so I'll likely try both. I am also going to try the pure abundance hair spray-- one of the reviewers talked about using it the way I used to use Spritz Forte (long discontinued). I sprayed it on my brush as I dried rather than as a hairspray. I just haven't been able to achieve the same at volume since it was discontinued. Crossing fingers!

How do you find their scents? I first started with Aveda back in the 90s. I loved their rosemary mint shampoo.. but it dried my hair out (and they've since changed the scent. I find it too sharp now).

As far as the scents, the Invati foam scent is light and pleasant. The Nutri Plenish is stronger and I frankly don't care for it as much but it seems to dissipate quickly and I don’t notice it all after drying my hair. Usually I just spray a bit on my hands and work it into the ends for a little detangling. Sometimes I spritz it directly onto my hair for more conditioning. I really like it for that.

I am also considering ordering the light Invati shampoo which is supposed to help fine hair. I like to have a couple of shampoo options to switch out every few days.

And I agree with you about the Rosemary Mint. I did receive a sample size of hand lotion which is nice though. I do not like their regular hand relief scent at all, but am faithful to their foot relief. Weird, huh?

What I use to get the hair out of my brushes is something many may have lying around in a box somewhere. An old dog comb that's made of metal and has a side that the teeth are wide gapped. I use the wide gap side to clean out the hair. Works great.
