Comments (5)Nice, starting on my birthday, LOL! I look forward to it, I accidentally deleted some of my pictures, but should have some for most categories....See MoreBest Coral Daylilies of 2021
Comments (14)Debra: Look at the edge on Marlee Jane. That is a wonder. Any trouble opening for you?............I don't think I have anything now I consider coral. I had Coral Majority but it did not survive the Arctic Freeze this February. South Seas is one of my old favorites and it did survive. I think of it as orange, but that's me...........Brad: That seedling of yours out of Smoky Mountain Autumn is promising, and I always look forward to seeing SMA itself..............Celeste: Road to Hana is new to me and it looks lovely. I'll look it up. I grew Bittersweet Destiny 3 different times and always loved the color. Very unique. However I could not keep it going for more then a couple of years each time, so I finally gave up on it. Must not like pot culture because you sure get colder then we do..............Maryl...See MoreDaylily Colors That Defy Description 2021
Comments (12)Will try again for more.... This is one of my one year old seedlings. A cross of 'Deepwater Horizon' x 'Allie Katt' Earlier blooms were a smoky purple blend While later it took on brown tones.... RASPBERRY SUEDE It isn't black, it isn't red, it isn't purple.....more likely a combo of all 3 TEDDY BEARS PICNIC Everyone who grows this one knows it can range in color. Sometimes it's purple, sometimes it's tan or brown, sometimes it's a blend PISTACHIO MOON Some days it will look pale lavender and other times nearly white a strange colored seedling out of 'Green Token' ADDIS ABABA Not truly red, but not truly pink......registered as a rose violet red blend...See MoreBitones and Bicolors 2022
Comments (16)Don't think I grow any of the types here, but some sure catch my eye.....Sherry: Evening Eyeshadow looks great....Nan: Spacecoast Color Scheme is unusually attractive and your seedling Jenna Salinger has a similar color scheme which is also nice.......Brad: Your Woodside Amethyst has the best color for you. Always one of my favorites of yours.....David Party Pinafore has called to me over the years. Maybe one day.......Debra: Love the tight ruffles on Mississippi Magistrate and have to go along with everyone else on that Biltmore Style seedling. Do you still have the Hensley daylily Biltmore Style in your garden?...................Maryl...See Moresherrygirl zone5 N il
