I agree this is a hard room to dress.

Here is a rendition with deco's idea for the most part. I was unable to fit the desk on the wall in between the windows. Sorry I did try but it seemed too close to the couch. You may want to try it to test it out for yourself. Sometimes things work better in real life than in the virtual world.

The thing on the wall over the kitchen table is a plant holder for a living wall.

I know that the furniture is not exactly like yours. We try to match things as much as we can. We added a couch table against the window, the side table next to the couch, the suggested bench seat with storaga and a back pillow as suggested, some are and more wall planters. Hope it helps. You may be saying well this is what I already have going. So here is another layout. But with this you will see a different option other than the sectional. We know that you want to keep it but it may work out better if you would consider this layout with a couch and chair. The sectional takes over your space so much that it controls the whole room. Just a thought for your consideration.

So here is a layout with the desk between the two windows and two storage benches with pillow backing as Deco suggested and a swival chair instead of the added sectional piece.
