Finding tone/balance w/ metals - Interior doorknobs, hinges, etc, etc

Hi. Working on a remodel. Painting starts this week.

I’m probably overthinking, but… I would like to figure out how best to temper my love of Venetian/ORB so that things don’t start feeling too dark/heavy when finalizing door hardware selectios (which I’m trying to do now).

I’ve basically narrowed down doorknobs to Schlage Georgian style (no back plate)… I’m currently leaning toward the Antique Brass finish, as I’m concered Aged Bronze will lean to dark/heavy. Thoughts on whether Antique Brass will blend well enough with the below?

OLD

  • Doorknobs were 90s shiny brass that haven’t held up well; not a fan of bright brass.
  • All door kinges have been painted over through the years - only just realizing I should probably replace them, too
  • Exterior front door is painted a muted brick red (HOA!)

NEW

  • All faucets are Delta Venetian bronze
  • Kitchen: cabinet knobs/pulls will be some form of ORB (not yet ordered); stainless appliances/sink
  • Hall bathroom currently has ORB pulls on white vanity, but space feels heavy - thinking to change to an antique brass to try to lighten things up
  • Med/dark wood floors throughout
  • Interior doors/trim/kitchen cabinets will be white (SW Snowbound)
  • Dominant wall color will be SW Agreeable Grey
