I told them about their mistake and won't do anything about it. I made the conclusion that they scammed me somehow. The name of the slab is " White Sparkle" and I'm 100% sure is a totally different stone apart from being Sparkling White. Although I like your clever idea of the backsplash, I really don't want to see anymore cream tones. Thanks for your reply.

did your contract with your GC specify the brand of quartz? If you wanted a specific countertop you needed to have that included in your contract. If you didn't your contractor got the cheapest slab of white sparkle he could.

No brand specified. I asked for Sparkling White countertops to my contractor, and he told to his provider and that's it. They don't even told me to see the slab. I thought sparkling white was sparkling white. I even sent him a video to make sure he understood what I wanted. There is nothing I can do now.

No, not really. You need to have everything in the contract. If you wanted a certain brand it needed to be in the contract and priced quoted accordingly.

I have sparkle white quartz in my cottage. It has tiny flecks of mirror in it that reflect light and sparkle. Does yours have any?

Mine also has some very faint seafoam blue-green chips. Mine looks way more white then yours.

I remember seeing slabs similar in color to yours when choosing my slab. I actually did not want the sparkle chips, but went with it only because I wanted ”white” white, not cream or beige.

Arrow is pointing to one of the mirrored pieces. They will even flash rainbow colors in the right light. If you can’t find any mirror pieces, then I think they have installed the wrong one.

It would be pretty easy to prove. If there ain’t no sparkles, then it ain’t sparkle white. Hence the name. Uh….Hello! I’d fight to get them to replace it. But, if you do end up stuck with it, it doesn’t look bad. I actually like white and cream kitchens. The creme Cloe tile that eld posted above would look great!

Hey Rebunky, the countertop does have a few sparkles, but as I said, I showed my contractor the kind of spakling white I wanted through videos and photos. He then told the countertop company and they brought what I have in my kitchen. I really hate the cream color. I talk to the guy directly and at least asked for a discount. He said: "I'm sorry but that job is done and there's nothing when can do".
