3/4” thick Zellige tile installation
Comments (5)@lynne3450 Hello! I looked at the same Oasis field tile, even got several samples from them including the puddle color. My sample was indeed the thinner one but I was told they would be switching to the standard zellige thickness of 3/4” soon. With that said, I ordered several other samples of zellige from a few other companies including Zia. I ultimately went with Riad in snow in the standard thickness. I am not sure what your application will be but we did not have any problems with installation. We used it as a kitchen backsplash, all the way up to ceiling and also inside our windowsill. One side of our wall went up to a cabinet and the other side did not end against anything. For this side and inside the window, we made a mitered edge. My husband did the entire install. Wasn’t too hard. I can post photos if you would like....See MoreCle zellige tiles - Moroccan Sea Salt color

Comments (48)bevysaintpe,,,,tea ceremony is a beautiful color. I would use a light gray grout color, allowing the zellige tile to shine through. The eye really won't pick up on the gray. Look at Mapei Warm Gray. it's the perfect shade. I used it w/my shower tiles the warm gray will give you a similar look to this one. (also your color tile) here's the warm gray in the Flexcolor CQ I would not use this bright white grout color or this very large grout spacing try to get as close as you can...See MoreHas anyone used Riad zellige tile in the bathroom?
Comments (1)A tile P.R.O. does not find this extraordinarily "difficult". Yes a pro. Not a DIY, , not a guy a contractor hauls to the job from a street corner. Not a guy who is used to slamming up three dollar a sq foot subway from the local big box. Just as important? Your substrate.
