Katlan triggered a memory. We were at a doctor's appointment when my child was little bitty. The physician was asking all types of questions about lifestyle. I was trying hard to let little bitty answer so they would know the answers were truthful. They spouted that daddy set off the smoke detector every time he made bread. She just kept checking boxes. So you have milk, vegetables, fruits, protein... Check! Kept going through the list. Do you have a car seat? Check! Are there locks on cabinets? Check! Do you have a smoke detector, Never mind, you absolutely have one.

Ded - our current 2 Aussies always lick whatever they can reach whenever I load the dishwasher. Drives me freaking crazy. None of our previous ones ever did that.

Ded, I have a hole in a basement room ceiling that was put there by a plumber who had to fix a leak in the upstairs plumbing. I was too lazy to refinish the ceiling. I just slapped a vent cover over the gaping hole. I’m a real DIY’er. 🙂
