I, too, think I will go with polished because I certainly don't want to spend that much money for something that is going to look worn etc. If I was going to get something like that, I would pay alot less and buy some beautiful, natural, white marble with dark veining. I'm sure the honed ceasarstone looks good too tho but I just can't deal with that kind of wear and tear. No way!!! I think polished is the way to go. Annsch, I like how your countertop and white cabinets turned out. what color floor did you do???? I would love to see more pictures as I am trying to coordinate colors and so far am set on the white backsplash, pebble glossy top, white cabinets and am contemplating a lighter grey floor.

Thank you everyone. I did speak to a fabricator and he echoed the issues with Super White as not being a quartzite that has the durable properties that you look for in a quartzite (did not get into whether it really is one or not - moot point) so the lack of duribility takes that out of the running. So unless I get really lucky and find a couple - possibly 3 - slabs of a durable natural stone that will hold up to our type of use, I am back to manmade quartz. I am familiar with most brands and loads of information on this site but nothing on the Antolini brand. Anyone have anything to share about it?

We had the Himalayan moon Quartz countertop installed last week!! It’s not exactly what I was expecting! I was thinking it would be more taupe brownish grey, but it comes across as much much more grey! The countertop company IKEA works with here, wouldn’t answer any questions concerning the Himalayan moon, so ordering this was really a stab in the dark! There is quite a bit more variation in this quartz then you might think, so just know that going in!! Like for instance, lots of Random black rivers running through it. I really do like it, I just thought the taupe brown would show up more. We also opted to go without backsplashes, to do tile instead. We had pre-paid for back splashes, so the company agreed to do three windowsills instead! Matching quartz windowsills are a really nice touch! These photos are taken of a not yet completed kitchen, so please excuse the mess!!
