Thanks guys for the advice. I have had them outside two full days with today being the third. First day was cloudy and about 45. Yesterday was clear and about 65 and today it is forecast for 62 and rain. We may not get much rain but we got the clouds. I have been checking the plants regularly and the temp has been kept from about 55 to 80 degrees during that time. After today, we should have few straight days of 50's and 60's with good sun. On those warm sunny days, I can open the top and let the breeze have at them but the sun is still lightly filtered by the top. Once the weather gets to minimum standards around here (probably early June). I will be planting my Bhut's directly in the garden and then putting the others in containers in the front of the house. Then the greenhouse will be removed.

I thought the caulk was suppose to go at the transition points. So I am thinking there should be caulk instead of grout at the place where the tile meets the tub and where the tile meets the window and where the tile meets the wall. So is this just desiable or best or necessary? Also they still have to pull the tile off and redo the soap niche......How should this be done so it will look right? Also the grout color is not exactly what I had in mind....it has not been sealed yet....in fact has not been completely filled in is some places.. see previous pics for some of the bubbles/cracks. What has to be done to fix the cracks/bubbles? Should it all be taken out and redone? If so then I guess i could get the color corrected when they re-do it. If the needed bubble/cracks just have to have grout schwished in and then sealed....then is it better to put the color change product mentioned previously on before it is sealed?

I think that glass tile is just lovely and it really pops. IMHO, there's no getting around that you're looking into a kitchen from the living room, especially as the cabinets are white. Who are we trying to kid here? And as long as they're going to see a kitchen in there, why not give the viewers a little something that sparkles, like this beautiful tile? It also happens to be about the same color as the paint in the kitchen; I can't tell if that's the same color paint in the living room -- it looks more blue in there. I think just behind the stove is okay, but you don't have that big of a space there, so why waste it? Go for the whole backsplash area.

You certainly have soffits all around this kitchen! I would like to see the underside of the soffit treated like the one above the sink: put the wall color on all sides of the soffit and don’t use the ceiling color on the underside. Additional lighting is the best idea for the soffit, but you have to consider the other light fixtures, too. 1. Will you be keeping it? If so, find something that compliments it, and decide if you want to switch that lights around to the new spot to use a different type of light in the center of the kitchen. 2. Buy new complementary lights for the 2-3 places. Small hanging pendants would be very nice there and there are many central kitchen ceiling light designs to choose from. FUTURE IDEA: I love Boxerpal’s faux cabinet solution for the future—if you end up keeping the cabinets when you are ready to completely change the kitchen, use that great idea. Otherwise consider taking the soffits out to go farther up with cabinets. (And just living with it for a bit can be very freeing...spend where it matters the most for the most impact.)
