Comments (13)9/21/24 My 72 year-old DH, aka Prince Charming (truly),went to the grocery store this morning to pick up a few things I needed for dinner tonight. He got in line at quick check (limit 15 items) and waited for his turn. An older woman, DH guessed at least 80, told him he was in the wrong line because he had 18 items in his cart. He said, "No Mam, I have 14 items." She said she counted 18. He told her she was mistaken. She just wouldn't let it go. An employee heard her ranting and asked if there was a problem. She told him. The employee told her she should take the offer and quit ranting or he would have to remove her from the store. She quickly moved in front of DH and made sure to bang his cart several times. The woman (close to his age) who now moved to the spot behind DH told him he was a good man. He said, "No, I'm not. My wife says I'm Prince Charming." That's my laugh for the day....See More- 4 years ago
