Probably not if all the light is coming from the sconces. Assuming each sconce takes a 60W incandescent bulb which produces ~ 800 - 900 lumens, you have between 5600 to 6300 lumens. That does not take into consideration shading due to the sconce or directionality - whether the light is directed up or down. If you want ~ 20 lumens per sq ft, 19 * 21 * 20 = 7980 lumens. The ceiling height could be problematic for recessed lights as most installations are for ceiling heights

Lovely! The drapes are wonderful. I think the fabric choice is very nice - I like it a lot better than some of the patterned fabrics we had looked at before. I think the extra pillow on the couch would be nice, but I would like to see a lighter toned fabric that reflects the lighter feel of the two chairs, perhaps even a needlepoint with a lighter background. One thing I would try is moving the couch closer to the fireplace, rather than putting it smack dab in the center of the room. I think it will create a cozier feel as a grouping with the leather chair, and will also open up that walkway in front of the two chairs a bit. Also, you will be able to get a smaller area rug to define just the space containing the leather chair, couch and coffee table, and let the chairs feel like a bit of a separate seating space. I think the room will feel wider that way. I would consider a round coffeetable, to put some curves into that area and also compliment the round mirror and london arms on the chairs. One more thought. Take the glass display cabinet that is by the entrance to the space, and angle it in the corner. It has glass sides that will not seem too bulky when it is turned, it will be a visual compliment to the tv on the opposite corner, and it will fill the space better, imo. And if that has lighting in it, use it. It will add warmth to the room over there.

I'll get the ball rolling. I don't think you need to do much to change what you have, because you've done a beautiful job already. Here are a few suggestions just to add in some color. I worked off the little bit of color you already have in the rooms.

@truesmama - We have a similar situation with cathedral ceilings that are 21-22' high. Our room is only about 20 x 20' and will have a fan with a light kit. 6 can lights are installed in the ceiling. On my list to purchase to try (https://www.amazon.com/Dimmable-120%C2%B0Degree-Certified-300watts-Replacement/dp/B076PLLRJR/ref=sr_1_4?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1544345498&sr=1-4&keywords=br40+300w+led). Not to bore you. The Hyperikon BR40's would be ambient lighting. The ceiling just swallows them up. I will use them in 9 and 10' ceilings throughout the house for other purposes. The Cree was a little brighter, but still did not have enough oomph for anything other than ambience. Expensive too. The TANKS - omg, these things come in 250w and 300w (sucks 35-40w LED) and are BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT. Like basketball course bright if you choose the cool temp. Only drawback HOT and non dimmable. The last one to order dims - yay, but it's really expensive and with not many reviews.... Hope this rambling helps some
