Arhaus, like Restoration Hardware, and Pottery Barn have lots of stuff that looks good, looks fashionable, but when compared to other lines, not well made or comfortable. Look into (for about the same price) Taylor King (Portfolio Collection) where you can build a sectional pick your arm style, base options at no charge. $6300 for a 110" X 110 " sectional, 8 way hand tied, solid Maple frame. No down, down extra. Lot of fabrics to choose from for that price. Henredon, Fireside same options, grade C $7499 (Spring Blend Down seats, Down Backs, 8 way hand tied) 10-15 fabrics for that price. Flexsteel, $5000

We love it! It's a beautiful couch, and super comfortable. Even though it was definitely more than we wanted to spend at the time, we have no regrets at all having owned the couch for about 5 months now. P.S. I don't think I noted it above, but we were able to customize the fabric when we ordered at no extra charge (there was a promotion at the time). When we saw it in person, neither my wife or I were big fans of the texture on the fabric that comes with the sofa. We have a similar (very light colored) performance fabric, which seems to be holding up great so far despite a 2 1/2 yo :)

WRONG!! Sorry, Patricia. A quality made eight way hand tied sofa can last nearly forever! I have been sitting on one for over 20 years! Arhaus is not quality. They will guarantee a "frame". You will replace cushioning until your face falls off. It's hopeless I guarantee. Hickory Chair, Hancock and Moore, Taylor King, Century..........all will get you eight way hand tie AND a spring down seat cushion. Spring down is the standard cushion on Hickory Chair. Yes, you can feel the difference! You can feel the support beneath you. None can be bought online. Find a retailer or designer. Expect to pay for the comfort, the longevity a host of available fabrics, and even the ability to customize sizing and configuration. There is no "inexpensive" escape route. Wish I could say otherwise. CR Laine. Lee......there are others. Above the best, unless you can swing a Baker which may set you back half a decent automobile.

I have been happy to see Crate & Barrel bringing back the bumper sectionals. I was seriously considering the Axis bumper sectional, but ended up going with a different brand without a bumper (due to my specific use). Keep in mind that the C&B Lounge is really really deep. 29"! I have a 27" deep Room & Board sectional (with a bumper) and while I do love it, at 5'6" my feet definitely do not touch the ground sitting normally on it. I'm pretty sure 21"-23" seat depth is more "normal". I ordered something with a 24" depth for just a little extra depth for my 6'3" husband's long legs. The outside depth of the Arhaus Kipton is 2" less than the Lounge or you can order it an even shallower size. Just something to keep in mind when you're choosing.
