Skip anything black stainless. It’s a flash in the pan, and it peels snd scratches through the coating. Count on replacing that refrigerator and putting it in your laundry or garage. Do regular stainless or an interesting color other than black. An appropriate refrigerator to go with a 48” range and 54” hood would be a SubZero Level built in. With or without panels. Dint forget the Pro grade 54” ventilation system and make up air that such a large range will require. It will cost as much as the range.

Jane, thank you for the input. I should have posed my question a bit clearer. I need help with metal for lighting, faucets, etc. I'm looking for suggestions for the entire (overall) look of the bathroom. At first I was going with polished nickel, but the faucet I want to use (Delta/trinsic) does not come in polished nickel. The light fixtures I Iike only come in polished nickel and not chrome. It's just so frustrating. I thought I could do mixed metals, but unsure of that too. I read a number of folks say don't mix polished nickel and chrome. I was thinking matte black, but nervous. My husband won't go for brass (after posing my above question), though I agree, it would be interesting. Thank you again, and if you have any other thoughts, I'd greatly appreciate them. The double vanity is 80" (white), there will be a free standing tub (white), with separate shower in white subway tiles, the quartz counter tops are a medium gray, dark slate floors, and lastly white walls. It's so hard for me to use my imagination and picture different metals in the space.

I'm putting in matte black cupboards so I've really been looking to match them. GE's Black Slate is more Deep Matte Charcoal. But GE Cafe series black is the same as GE's matte black and even just "black." I was looking at a dishwasher in "black" and asked the chat person if it was flat black? Yes it is. Can get GE's Profile series in matte black still. I'm taking another in-person shopping whirl with a sample of my cupboards to be safe. Black can vary a LOT. Black stainless looks like metal, not as polished, but dark--very pretty. If I can't totally match the matte black to my cupboards, I'll go that direction.

This is the brushed nickel water filter faucet. I have to keep this since it has the filter replacement light indicator, so I can't pick another faucet since it won't have that feature. What other finish can I pick for the kitchen faucet pulldown/one lever to go with the filtered faucet? I can choose similar style, but do I need to keep the same color/finish? Thank you.
