Comments (3)I would say "Yes. to the best of my ability, or I certainly will try".I wouldn't say, "Oh, yes! or I'll try, or some other "wishy washy" answer. A resonate "Yes" would tell me you are too eager, no or maybe, would not be good. Think positive and smile but don't over due it. Good luck. Of course, you will dress up a bit and don't appear in sneakers and blue jeans. You will shake hands if the interviewer extends their's first and of course say good morning or afternoon, and thank them for the interview when you leave....See MoreJob Interview-Wish Me Luck
Comments (74)Cathy, I'm only sorta sorry this company didn't make an offer. They sound dysfunctional. There's a disconnect happening somewhere in the chain of command & the decision process is suffering. Not sure that's a positive environment to land yourself. Chaos & dysfunction usually start at the top & work their way down to the bottom. The perfect opportunity will present itself probably when & where you least expect it to appear. But, it will happen. /tricia...See MorePost-job interview advice needed!
Comments (19)Well, if your floor is shaking and you hear screams coming through your computer speakers, it is me, jumping up and down and making a lot of noise. I got the job!! Woo hoo! With every passing day and no phone call, I was worrying more and more. I kept thinking about the interview questions and berating myself... "Why didn't I mention X?", "I can believe I forgot to tell her about X!". This morning I got a call from the HR department wanting to set up a time for me to come and fill out the new hire paperwork. I told them I was happy to, but no one had called to tell me I got the job. The woman claimed that she had new hire paperwork with my name on it right in front of her, so some wires got crossed big time! I was transferred to my supervisor (the woman who interviewed me) who confirmed that yes, she wants to offer me the position! I have been working towards this for quite a while, which makes this so satisfying. It is entry-level, the pay is low and I couldn't be happier! Thank you again for your feedback and great advice... Comments (10)Well, sorry, been gone all afternoon, spent it with my daughter. The interview went fine. Second question I had for them: Do you have any indoor pets. :( Yes, big dog, two cats. Rats. I am very allergic to animal dander. I don't think I can do this job. But, I will go over on Thursday and give it try. We are having a heck of a ice and snow storm coming in, and decided on Thursday, the roads should be fine again by then. The baby (girl) is adorable. Mom and dad really nice. Mom thinks she doesn't want to interview any others..... Should be 4 hours, 5 days a week. Would be perfect, if I didn't have allergy problems. Moni...See More- 4 years agolast modified: 4 years ago
