biz...anaphylactic responses run in my husband's family- some to bees, some to nuts, some to half a dozen things. simple things like id'ing what sort of bees, and determining their habits will make pulling it up a lot easier- or there may be someone close who can help- in fact, through freecycle or craigslist, it's possible you may find someone willing to come out, and haul the whole mat of it away (and think they got lucky, on top of it) otherwise, it really does involve digging up as much of the sea of it as practical- and roundup-ing anything that grows back from the left overs. two layers of wet cardboard (or 12 of newsprint) covered with mulch SHOULD smother it eventually...but it will still try and crawl to the edge, and escape.

Discoqueen - it's an elder bush. Sambucus nigra - a very common self sowing native. You will need to cut it right down and then, if you can't dig out the roots, apply some sort of brush killer to the stumps. Before anyone says, why destroy an edible, these things are native here and sprout all over the place. They are a bit too common and a bit too large to tolerate in our small gardens.

The leaves and wood of elder have a somewhat unpleasant smell, which is easy to check for. And, as the link info says - the stems are hollow. Fairly easy to remove as it is not deep-rooting, though the roots do spread widely. Better to remove it entirely as it will resprout from the stump. If there are other elders nearby you are guaranteed more because the birds will bring seeds to your garden. Makes an 'interesting' jam from the black berries teamed with apples. Sort of a strong toffee flavour. (I don't think it was my jam-making...;-) )

I am hoping someone can help me identify the brand of this flooring. color too if possible. Let me give you a few details that might help. the backside of the laminate is an orange brown color and its not a foam backed laminate. all the brands seem to measure a little differently. this brand is exactly 6.5 inches wide excluding toungues and 47 and 7/8” long any help would ne greatly appreciated i need a few more boxes and first step is to know the brand even if discontinued i think i can find some if i can identify it. it might be something home depot sold 10 years ago or so. the only home improvement store we have here is home depot but really it could have come from elsewhere . any help would be greatly appreciated!!
