Welcome to the forums and thanks for not really doing anything before asking for suggestions. Too many people would have waited until they dumped a few truck loads of junk and then asked for advice. Is there a house on the property now? That much soil is guaranteed to change your drainage to something much different from what it is now. Are you sure you want to do this? Can you post a picture so we can see what you're dealing with? Usually there's nothing wrong with a slope. Maybe someone will have a different way of looking at your issue that you have not thought about. For new construction they first build a pad for the building, build the building, then call in a "finish grader" to prepare the soil and profile it according to the landscape architect's drawings. The finish grader will use a tractor with a box blade attached to the back. A really good finish grader can prepare 5 acres (flat) in a morning if there are no trees, sprinklers, or concrete in the way. If you want it profiled it might take the rest of the day to do 5 acres. An average driver might take twice that long to do the job, but that's about the limit of the job.

This goes way beyond normal kids staying up late at night; just the sleep deprivation alone is torture & abuse. The stepson enjoys doing it, & his father enables it. "My family doctor and my psychiatrist feel that I should leave this unhealthy environment but I do love my partner and that is what keeps me here." I hate to say it, but I think you'll leave pretty soon one way or another. If you don't go under your own steam, an ambulance will take you to the hospital or the nursing home or the funeral home. & this "partner" will not come visit you; he'll throw your belongings out & forget about you (although if you're in the cemetary, he may tell people how broken-hearted he is). This is how abusers are, I've seen it before. & he *is* an abuser; even though it's the son who's mistreating you, the father is making sure that the son can keep doing it. sort of abuse at arm's length. It doesn't matter how often you catch the son & present concrete evidence to his dad, the dad will somehow sweep it under the rug & turn the tables & accuse you of causing trouble. That's called blaming the victim. Loving somebody does *not* involve taking whatever abuse they or their messed-up offspring dish out & coming back for more. Loving someone doesn't mean throwing yourself on the floor for them to wipe their feet on & pleading for them to stop; (& why would they? hey, they've got a good doormat there). Loving relationships are just that, *relationships*. Love is a 2-way street, & you are going against traffic on a 1-way street here. You've already gotten to a stop light, & your doctors have told you to take a sharp turn, but you keep thinking that the oncoming traffic will let you through. Take that turn & get off that street. Since you are seeing a doctor & a psychiatrist, I'd guess that you can afford to get a place of your own, but if you can't, call a women's shelter for guidance. Please take care of yourself & be good to yourself.

<that took a bit of hunting.. but here we are> I have to do quite a bit of hunting almost every day! I need to get my photos more organized because they are in folders all over the place. I know I have a photo of a wild tiger lily that I took on one of my hikes, but I have no idea where I stored it. I also have a photo of a hawk that I cannot find, plus some wild turkeys.

I am sorry to confuse you. But, as I stated...I thought it was the one that a friend took while we were at Arlington attending a funeral. I had seen Sister's picture and thought it was mine. I had posted my picture here several months or longer ago, and the picture was much older. Sorry to confuse you, but hope this clears things. My post was a bit long, as I do not take kindly to someone calling me a liar as "Sister" did. Her picture was taken from a different location. And...to end this.....I do not take pictures from the internet (do not use Facebook either) except for family, friends pictures that they send to me. So, hopefully this satisfies everyone.
