Paint advice needed! shutters, front/side fiberglass doors, cedar stain
Comments (2)I suggest no shutters. Most of the windows could not carry properly sized ones....See MoreShutters - What color? Just painted house and need to update shutters
Comments (9)Looking at all the pics you posted, I see that the last one with the dark siding is your current color (Night Gray). I like the last pic WITHOUT the shutters. Leave them off entirely. Your home looks so much more modern and up to date the way it is right now with he Night Gray siding and white trim. If you think you need something around the windows, increase the trim size but I really think it is fine/good to leave it the way it is now....See MoreImproving curb appeal… help us choose new shutter/door paint colors?
Comments (15)Great house! Try painting the shutters the same color as the rest of the trim, but remove the shutters from the upper window - they don't fit. Then try medium to dark wood color or shiny dark green for the door, with a big brass knocker. The tree to the right of the door just needs to be thinned so you can see a little more of the house. I'm not sure about Cousin Itt, it's probably best to ask your tree service about what can be done with it; it would be expensive to remove. Good luck, I hope you succeed with your offer....See MoreExterior Paint Colors - how to match trim? shutters? Pictures included
Comments (8)Cute solid home! I’d remove shutters permanently. Stain the concrete window ledges the same alabaster as the brick. To me the window trim and alabaster are so close that I’d leave it. The big question is how to tie in the new dark wood stained door. I don’t have a program that would allow me to show you that. So if it were me, I’d try to find something dark that I could put that stain on, and literally wrap it around the columns on your porch. Just one column would be enough. Step back, and take a look! If you don’t like the dark, then personally I’d leave it the same as the white trim on windows....See MorePatricia Colwell Consulting
