It is all a bit much. The only ones I don't like are the basketweave and DIAMOND MARBLE FLOOR. Maybe have some consistency between functional rooms like the hex you're using in the basement bathroom and the mudroom and laundry room?

@lynne3450 Thank you for the reply! Of course, the dogbone is my favorite! Haha .. I could just do the simple, non-pattern tile in the master bath to simplify things. Do you mean do the same black hex in the basement and laundry? I could.. Although these tiles are spread out on 4 different floors - basement, first, second, and attic - so didn't want to play too safe either?

IMO we need to know a lot m,ore about your style and IMO the fewer grout lines in bathrooms the better so I like 12 x24 porcelian tile for bathroom floors and tub or shower walls then a smaller hex tile either a bit darker or lighter for the shower floor all matchng grout and never white In a kids bathroom use accessories to add some fun then they will grow into a simple space that you will not have to change in a few years ,IMO all bathrooms do not need to be the same , bathrooms attached to bedrooms should be designed to work with the bedroom , powder rooms are a place where you can go a bit crazy with wallpaper that would be way too much in any other space works really well in PRs

I love the first ones - esp the dogbone marble. The only ones I don’t care for are the bigger marble (is it real or the porcelain printed to look like marble? I don’t care for the latter) and the various patterned ones you’re considering in the attic. They are a different era/style than the others.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting Do you think the shared bath black & white penny tile too childish? I thought it felt playful bit still classic enough to stand the test of time. We were going to do white 3x6 subway or white 4x12 in herringbone patter in the tub/shower walls..

I have remodeled four full bathrooms and a half bath in the past ten years in two different houses. If you're trying to pick things out at Home Depot or Lowes, I suggest you go to a store that specializes in tile or flooring instead as they will have designers that will help you coordinate all of the different parts in a bathroom (counters, shower walls, flooring) at no cost. If you live in a rural area this may not be an option for you, but I can tell you that this approach has helped me a lot. They should be able to stay within your budget. The place I use has options across all price points. They can also recommend installers.

I like your thinking about keeping a similar color palette across all the bathrooms, but not doing it exactly the same way in all of them. The things you like make sense in an older home (pre-war). If you have a mid-century rancher you should go in a different direction.

To give the best advice we'd need to know what other furnishing you are looking at for each specific space in your home. We think it's hard to give specific advice without this. @Lee M That's how I feel too! I think I am set with most of the selections. I just am torn with master bath and attic. I think I like the diamond in master, but is that one too many patterns and diamonds? And I just don't really love the attic options, so maybe simplify there. I think I like the shared penny flower tile.. but not sure if others find it childish or classic.

@MARGARITA BRAVO - Thank you! These are all in bathrooms so the only furnishings would really be vanities, lighting (except in case of mudroom and fireplace surround tile above). I wanted to lock in tile before I set my sights on specific lighting etc. though.

Powder room and attic will likely have Kohler Memoirs pedestal sink and toilets. Others will have black, white, or gray "transitional" style vanities (like Pottery Barn classic, James Martin Brittany, etc.)

We have selected faucets - Kohler Purist in moderne brushed brass in powder and master baths, and Delta Cassidy in polished nickel in all the rest. But largely a blank canvas right now!

@kandrewspa Thank you! We are working with The Tile Shop and have our eyes on two things from The Builder Depot. They've made some suggestions, but my problem is I've run out of things I just love that I feel are cohesive but not redundant. I am torn mostly with two options/directions for master bath and just don't love anything for attic.
