Help! Selecting tile for new home build.

I'd like them to all feel cohesive without being too similar.

I am going for gray, black and white. I'd like the tile to be a fairly simple base - color will be added with accessories, art, etc.

Is it feeling too busy, too many shapes.. or not enough? I love hexagons and chevron for example, but don't want to overdo any one shape. Second floor has a lot of different diamonds going on..

I am particularly torn between two options for primary bath below.

The hall/shared bath will be used by kiddos so I wanted something playful and practical for lots of use - I like the penny tile but will it feel too childish in a few years? I could put that in the attic bath instead..

I'm not sure I've found something I love for the attic.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!
