Which Frying Pans should I buy?

Hi Everyone! I need a high quality frying pan for my Kitchen. The quality material should be wonderful. There is no issue of budget at all. Waiting for response. Thank You in advance.

Depends on what you are cooking, A well-equipped kitchen should at least have a cast iron pan, a carbon steel wok, and an inexpensive non-stick pan.

There are many good quality pans available in market. All it depends on your budget.

There are professional style 24"gas ranges, the best being Bluestar, but they're very expensive. I don't like the cheap Summit or Brown ranges. Avanti makes cheap 24" ranges that well, are perhaps O.K. - there are many different models, and some seem very cheap and flimsy- the pricier models seem somewhat better- Perhaps a better gas range for the $$ is Italian and goes under several names with minor differences. Different brands import them under different names. Avanti used to market it as the "Elba" DG2401C- Some online store called Sam's sells 'reconditioned' ones for about $1,000. A place called Rainbow lists it for much more. Delonghi also sells a similar range,Model: DEFSGG24SS or did at one time.- not sure if they're available any more. It's also known as the Verona VEFSGG244SS- Amazon sells it for about $1,830. Fisher Paykel also sells a similar range at a premium price. Fisher Paykel OR24SDMBGX2- $1850 or more. Bertazzoni sells their own gas range for about $2,000.

The melting point of aluminum is 660 C; the melting point of copper is 1083 C. I doubt that you can heat a pan to either of those. Demeyere does indeed have frying pans, both nonstick and regular, that will stop heating at around 485 F. This feature only works on induction cooktops; it works because the magnetic material in the pans is designed so that it is only magnetic below that temperature. It would seem that they would work very well for the absent-minded cook. But, they are quite expensive, and do require induction. My current philosophy for nonstick frying pans is to go cheap so that I don't mind replacing them when they wear out. I currently like the Johnson Rose Crown Select (from Instawares and other retailers) line for this purpose. I have a 10" (I think) frying pan from them that has seem pretty heavy use for the last two years, and it is continuing to hold up pretty well. I'll probably need to replace it in another year or two. I like the Demeyere Atlantis line for other purposes. So far, I have had no problem with damage from overheating. There have been a couple incidents where things have burned on, and I have been amazed that the pan has cleaned up to pristine condition after a brief soak in soapy water.

He has said I was over-protective but that was when Brittani was here. He told me I needed to let her spend the night with her friend. Well, you know how that ended up. That was the second time I let Brittani stay with her friend & then that happened. So I have never trusted Travis' judgement since then. I don't hover over him because I'm too tired much of the time & wanting a break from the boys. That sounds bad, but it's the truth. As soon as he tells me "I'll stay with the boys while you grocery shop" I'm out the door. Or if he starts playing w/ them I look at that as my chance to do the dishes without interuptions. I wouldn't have even known he left the boys out in the store if he didn't tell me when he returned. He tells on himself because he doesn't realize the things that he does are dangerous. He's very smart about somethings & totally dumb about others. There's one area that he thinks about constantly...the bedroom. I told him I wouldn't have sexual relations w/ him until he saw a counselor. He looked up a phone number yesterday. It's been a few days & he'll be desparate by next week. I know this isn't healthy for a marriage but I'm not into him at all when he is so careless with my life. Those boys are my life.

jterrilynn: yes, that looks like a good price to me. It looks similar to the all clad holiday promotion that efs referred to above (amazon has it for the same price). I think this is an excellent choice. The induction compatible thing opens a whole new can of worms... I went with induction when I remodeled and needed new pots and pans to work with it. I have a couple of cuisinart pans that are induction compatible, but I really had to be careful to make sure that they were magnetic. If I remember right, they were just switching over their tri-ply line to be induction compatible, so some were and some weren't (I think I was looking around this past May). Because of this, I didn't feel that I could order the cuisinart on-line - I had to buy local and bring a magnet. The cuisinart is cheaper than the LeCreuset tri-ply, but the quality difference is very noticeable. Like warmfridge, I really like the LeCreuset tri-ply. But all clad is the gold standard for most regular folk, so it a really nice gift. However, if you have a LeCreuset outlet near you it is worth checking out. They are having 25-35% off sale on pretty much the whole store through Nov 24th - linked below. Just a heads up that not all of the all clad is induction compatible. I was told at Williams Sonoma that the all clad copper core was induction compatible but would not work as well as the all clad SS (I think the copper core costs more, anyway). My favorite frying pans are my carbon steel wok, and my 7.25 qt Le Creuset...yes, it's not a pan but the sides keep the actual frying (chicken etc) process less messy...and yes, it takes longer to heat up but it holds the oil temp well! I use both all the time. I have an actual fryer for my homemade fries. Or are you just asking about making eggs in a frying pan ;) Then non-stick is my favorite!

I have cast iron, stainless steel and non-stick pans. Which ones I use depends on what I'm cooking.

Demeyere Atlantis. Best cookware in the world. Maintenance free and beautiful but heavy and expensive. Carbon steel is wonderful too if you don't mind seasoning it.

If you want non stick: Circulon. I have had a set of the fry pans for years and nothing sticks to them. Ceramic coated frypans are newer. I have a Ninja air fryer that is ceramic coated and nothing sticks to it❣️ I love my Ninja air fryer: healthy cooking and you dont have to add oil❣️
