My Mom had a pair of lamps of similar worksmanship. Just one figure each, but the same style. The pierced decorative brass base on yours is exactly the same. I recall asking her if they were antique, and she said no (That was a while back! More than a while). She said she had bought them right after her marriage. She was married in 1950. So I would date them to 1950 or shortly before.

It appears to be a probably 1960's or so very simple walnut expanding table. If I am seeing your pictures correctly, It appears to be what was often called "an apartment table". When all is folded up, and the leaves in the closet, it sits against the wall looking for all the world like a desk.....until you open it up and....voila! a table that can seat 8! Most furniture doesn't have a mark on it.

When I get home I will take a pic of enlarged signature and post on antiques as well. I really really wanna find more I love color and they are so vibrant.
