If you have enough natural light in your kitchen, white walls will make your upper cabinets “disappear” for a cleaner look so your beautiful blue counters and backsplash can stand out. Blue and white is a beautiful combination. There are so many undertones to white—yellow, blue, pink (ugh!), green… If you want to go that route, make sure you do your research and sample test. The wrong white against your current white cabinet may contrast badly. It’s usually best to match whites against each other or at least be in the same undertone.

Thank you for your suggestions :) I am thinking of some sort of grey. But they all seem to just end up matching the tile. Do you think I Should I go darker grey or bluer grey?

I am not seeing a photo of the tile, or is it propped somewhere in the kitchen photo and I'm overlooking it?

Blues paints that don’t look like a nursery blue are usually grey blue. If you pick one that co-ordinates with your tile, you’ll have some continuity. I personally find the look busier when cabinets, backsplash and wall segments all standout as a separate shape (like tetris blocks) because each one is a competing colour.

there is a yellow wall. I might try a lighter[ very light] lemony yellow. You will have all the white and the dark and enough blue in two tones and dark floor...... I dont think any more blue is needed and the correct yellow will keep it fresh and many yellows have cool undertones... There is not a lot of wall..try a light fresh yellow. bring in the swatch cards and just put a few up on the wall and walk by...you'll see how pretty that can be.....the yellow that is there isn't correct [its too deep and too orangey ] .
