My bad...I forgot that yesterday was National Georgia Day so feel free to share any pics you may have....

Staycation week:

W- Show me a favorite spot to hang out inside

nickel, my MIL used to have huge crockpots full of whole heads of fermenting cabbages. The whole house and beyond smelled of it. When I make them, my husband always asks “Is someone getting married?” as they are a staple at the Ukrainian weddings here. LOL, the smell definitely puts my husband in the polka mood.

We have osprey eagles in our area. This is one of the nests around Our city actually built a big box for them to nest in on the tv station tower. It sets up a live camera inside every spring to see the hatching and growth of the chicks.

My favorite spot and my favorite time - a snowy day in winter. Just right for reading, watching TV or just watching the snow fall.

My hangout is that glide rocker closer to the windows where I can see all my back yard happenings while working on puzzles or reading or listening to our cd's. Or.... just contemplating life. Dh sometimes joins me in that other chair, but mostly it is just me, myself and I.

I spend most of my inside time in my family room. I have a nice view from my recliner including watching the birds that come to my bird feeder. Perfect for tv watching, reading, listening to music and just generally sitting around. :)

I like my living room. I wake up early to see the day dawn.

Sunshine is strictly prohibited from being up there. As you can see, she really doesn’t care if it’s me. She will never let my husband catch her. If she hears him stir, she will jump off.

Most of the time she sits next to me while I drink my coffee
