Neolith is still a possibility for the bathroom walls, but I am more interested in the Stone Peak Plane series. I like Stone Peak colors better, and it's a shorter lead time if I choose a color that is out of stock (6 weeks vs 6 months). I was able to see all the Stone Peak Plane colors at the slab yard today, and I'm leaning toward Fantasy Bright. I'm just not sure that I want to coat almost the entire bathroom in one surface material - walls, floor, vanity top, and tub deck. I'm considering using a natural stone on the vanity tops, or a conventional porcelain tile on the floor, or both. Attached is a photo of Fantasy Bright thin porcelain next to the Glacier White quartz. I'm hoping I can find out more about the Glacier White before committing to it. A slab of Cristallo , as a natural stone , contains flow, vains , "clearer" areas and darker ones. Can be more "milky" or more transparent. That's why the customer has to be the last word on layout to have the general final picture of his project pieces. And always keep in mind that as a semi transparent stone it got differences in appearance depending on the angle you looking at it and on lighting.

Me......I do not remember the price of the cristallo slab (first 2 pics I posted). What I have installed in my guest bath is Crystal Moon which looked to me like the EXACT same material as the Cristallo except was more bluish (which is the 3rd pic). The Crystal Moon was $67 a sq ft fabricated and installed, so for that guest room the cost for the top and backsplash was $675 and an extra $75 to install the sink. I will say though that when my fabricators saw my selection, they moaned. They did not like working with that material because it has a tendency to crumble when being cut.....all those big crystals tend to break off in chunks. I was informed that they would not be fabricating that material in any of their future jobs. As far as comparing prices between the Cristallo and White Princess or Bianco Antico, I am not that familiar with them, so can’t comment on that. Also, each stone yard across the country can be miles apart in their pricing, so it’s difficult to say. In regard to colors complementing your cabs, each slab under the same name can be so different from one another and the only way to know for sure is to view your cabinets and counter selection side by side and preferably in your own space because of home lighting and other factors. Selecting counters was not the most enjoyable for me....I despise lugging around samples and all the back and forth to the stone yard.

What is your range? If it requires a backguard, you may find yourself paying extra for a feature that isn’t seen. Or dealing with unsightly brown scorching of the sealer of either the tile or the stone, or the slab itself, if its resined, and you install with no backguard, against manufacturer’s specifications. Unfortunately, installations against specifications are shown all the time. Doesn’t make them correct or safe.
