Fireplace help: Changing the facade

I just bought a new house and would like to revamp the fireplace area. I currently have a gas fireplace with cabinets in a completely different style. Would love suggestions on changing the fireplace facade as well as new cabinets to match. I plan to paint the walls white. TIA!

IMO those cabinets are just kitchen ones and scream kitchen I also never like a TV above aFP so I would for sure remove the top cabinets remoce the counter and backspalsh and mount the TV on an articulating arm above one side and a piece of art on the other. If you are planning to redo the whole wall I would suggest a lower cabinet on either side to allow the TV to be mounted so that the center of the screen is at eye level whan you are seated. Then you could do a nice large format tile all the way to the ceiling above the fire box. For sure arrange the furniture so that one chair is not sitting all alone I love Besta from Ikea for TV S along with some nice storage .

Good advice all on getting an architect to re-draw the front elevation if I'm going to change it up. Love the term "builder's delight." And I've seen some mongrel looking houses and they give me the willies. m3d, I will be talking to the builder about all of this soon. I am just anxious to have something in my mind that is workable before I talk to him. I think it is better to have something that is well thought out rather than a lot of vague notions. Y'all are helping me see what works, what might not work, and why. Finally got a picture of facade #3. Do you think the portion that extends out could be clad in something other than brick? Maybe stacked stone? Maybe brick with a slurry on it (although I'm skittish of slurried brick - I've heard it eventually peels off). Maybe just brick painted? If I go with #3, do you think the interior of the little entryway ought to be clad in something contrasting? There is a house in my neighborhood that is painted brick except the interior of the entry and it has been left natural brick. I like the contrast on that house, but if I have brick on the body and stone on the jut-out, and something else on the interior of the jut-out, is that just "one sequin too much"?

It may loose that authentic brick appearance and scream I'm wall tile to the observer's eye, but it will definitely look like a real brick fireplace no doubt...

Thank you all! Does anyone have experience with the company Brick & Batten? I came across them on a search and looks like they do this kind of thing. Ultimatley, I want to replace the siding, garage door and entry door next to the garage. The "front door" is actually up the stairs on the side of the house, but not visible in any pictures. I also know there are a lot of funky things on the garage side of the house - too much cement, lop-sided roofline, small window, etc. I'm hoping to add/change design elements to help improve these.
