lukkiirish - Your offer is very nice and certainly a visual would help. I'm attaching the only other two photos I have of the room and presently it is in a state of de-construction so taking a fresh one isn't an option. I've been considering your advise on the ceiling and may just go with white there as I sort of have my heart set on the brown and blue for the other walls. Besides, they're more easily repainted should I be disappointed! This vanity is going to be replaced. Planning for a beveled glass mirror beginning above the outlets and "floating" on the wall. A medicine cabinet will remain where one is seen (but perhaps with a door matching the cabinets, no mirror) but the Linen Closet beyond will contain a cabinet, matching the vanity, going almost to the plant shelf. Going to be late summer getting these as our cabinet maker is booked until then (lucky him). The shower will become frameless glass but the footprint does not change. Our flag is hung, almost summer weather here in northern IL. Unusually warm and I'm using the patio this evening - unheard of for March! Thanks for your encouragement.

I would get the bedding 1st and then pick the paint colors by putting the swatches on the materials and looking at them. If you go the other way and paint the walls you could well "paint yourself into a corner" bacause it can be REALLY hard finding a material that will coordinate. Great, thanks for the ideas. Indian white wasn't on my radar, so I'll look at that. Mayonnaise, Cotton Balls and Moonlight all worth checking out. I am looking for something with a little depth, but not dingy. I've been scared away from aura based on 1) the cost and 2) the funny way it's applied. Can't remember what I read, but it seemed so confusingly different to me. Thanks all!

What colors do you like? Can you take a photo from further back? I ask because maybe it is the lighting but I am not loving that backsplash with your beautiful cabinets. Your river white granite has some pretty garnets in the color. It might just be the angle and light in that corner that you took the photo. Once a see a better picture I can help with some color ideas... What are the colors of the other rooms? Is there a color that you use in drapes, curtains, chair cushions, table cloth, or any place else. What is the floor color? Does this room open to other rooms? Some ideas...
