Comments (2)It has a cool 80's Contemporary Memphis Movement Italian vibe to it, so it could be a great original detail that would be valuable to the home. Does the rest of the home have similar interesting features? 80's Contemporaries and becoming more appreciated and their values are rising if they have those original details. It won't be easy to either disguise, or change. Use is as is until you are ready to remodel the bathroom. I'm comtemplating if I want a tub at all but if I get an air or a jetted tub, if the sides have stone around, how do you reach the motor if you need a repair? Just curious if anyone has dealt with that situation. For my current outdated tub, I can reach the motor through the the cabinet; I have a cut out there. I could do the same thing. Comments (2)I would advise your clients to do a feature wall with the dimensional tile that DOES NOT have the plumbing on it, and then get matching or coordinating flat field tile for the remaining walls. I'm in the midst of doing something very similar for a current bath project: textured tile on the long wall that faces the door as you walk in the bathroom, with flat matching field tile everywhere else. Here's an example: Regarding the window, you could also trim it out with the same solid surface material you're using for the counters. Schluter works too....See Moresuezbell
