Remodel-Main floor flooring help!

Hello! We recently bought a home and will be moving in this fall. I want to update the flooring on the main floor but struggling with all the different types of flooring. This is a picture of the current flooring. Do I rip everything out and just do Coretec LVP or something similar? Can I leave the tile in the back entry way/bath/laundry room since it is a separate area? We live in the midwest so carpet is still nice when it is cold and wondering if I replace any of the carpet in the family room/living room to another carpet? Due to the large square footage, I will not be able to do hardwood everywhere but wasn't sure if I could match the hardwood in the kitchen/dining and refinish it all with a lighter stain or just rip that out! So many options! (below is a pic of the hardwood/current carpet)

I will be repainting the house as well so wanting to get these things lined up before we move in! Thank you everyone!!!
