I'm not a fan of any of those options...for various reasons. Mostly because the style/scale as well as the tone doesn't look like it would compliment the bed.....although without links hard to know. The Bernhardt nightstands in your pic from Haverty's are 40 W x30 H x21 D. That is why they don't look dwarfed by the bed. Do you have room to do something like the pic Penny posted? Basically a simple open rectangle with a sturdy leg? Another thing I'd consider is taking a look at kids' dressers/desks. I want to update this master bedroom to reflect a softer, cozier “lighter” space. Thoughts about colors? The furniture is in great shape but the color is too dark- I want to try painting it but I’m just not sure on color. The lamps have to go- replace with sconces? I will also replace the headboard and bench. I saw the wallpaper in the last photo and that inspired me to think cream/gold but need some more ideas. Thanks in advance!

I agree to choose bedding first. Put a solar shade on the window and then get curtain panels that equal 2 1/2 times the window width (not 2 colors). hang the rod higher.

I think if you add some black to the dresser top they should be fine together I am not enamoured with a bunch of matching bedroom furniture .As for the size of the nightstand that all depends on the size of your bed . I think the dresser has art deco feel and so does the night table and I happen to love the rossette and IMO not at all victorian just fun/ It would be nice to see your bed to really have good advice here . I happen to have a platform bed so my night tables are lower .
