4-Hole Bridge Faucet in a Quartz Countertop?

I have read about cracks and failures both in front and behind the sink in stone/quartz countertops. I was wondering if it is inadvisable to choose a 4-hole bridge faucet, due to potential/resulting weakening of that area? I've been looking at faucets for awhile, always had in mind a 'one-hole' faucet, but saw one online over the weekend that I immediately fell in love with. Quartz guy is telling me 'they don't look good, try to choose one with one hole', but I figure his tastes may not be the same as mine and of course, it's more work for him. Also, are the faucet holes normally drilled at the time of countertop installation, onsite at the customer's home? Thank you.
