What's going on here?
Comments (5)Thank you both. It is only on the soil under this hosta only. There is no mulch. The hosta is very full and looks great. I will look up Rust Fungus. I don't think it gets any light or air under there because it is so thick and down to the ground....maybe some fungus has taken to the soil. It might fix itself as you say if I cut the leaves down when the season ends and rough up the soil. I might even divide it next spring thin it out and open it up a bit....See MoreWhat's going on here?
Comments (4)I have it in a window sill that is facing south, but there is a tree and some shrubs outside that window so I thought it would have some protection. But, never had this problem when I had it in a different window! I'll move it back to it's other location! Should I leave the affected leaves alone?...See MoreHere's what's going on here today
Comments (26)MtnRdRedux that is what they say about the durability. They also said that it is far less likely to grow algae and that we won't have to run the heater as much. We wanted to do a concrete w/ the dark grey interior, but absolutely no one thought it was a good idea to build that kind of pool in this spot... Hopefully this will turn out for the best! joaniepoanie, that is crazy that you didn't hear that tree! So lucky it fell away from the house! robo, yes the pool will be deep blue inside, which is supposed to produce dark blue water. There will be lots of stone overhanging the sides of the pool to make it look more natural. texan jana, I know it is crazy that there were people standing underneath it! 1929Spanish-GW normally a fiber glass pool is cheaper than a concrete or gunite because it is quicker to install. However, it depends upon the location and accessibility (and of course the surrounding landscaping is priced separately). If you're thinking about a pool and curious about pricing, I have a detailed quote breakdown which shows exactly how much the shell is direct from the company (separate from installation and surround of course)....See MoreWhat's going on here?
