It Looks like Gold, but It's Just Corn
Comments (8)Silage is chopped (something green). This is plain shelled corn. It is pricey, yes. Unfortunately, it's just our bin, not our corn. It took several hours to empty this bin because it's an old bin and the auger in the bin is small. The big trailer was too high to go under where the smaller trailer is postitioned. They had to auger the corn out into a small trailer, then empty it into the taller auger picking it up to the semi....See MoreHere Today Gone Tomorrow(Beth This Is What Became of My Taboo)
Comments (7)Still looks like green cane in both roses. I'm thinking they might come back - but maybe not for weeks and weeks. I don't know - I think I would replace them if there's roses you have waiting to plant. My thinking is that they might not be okay for the upcoming winter. I would replace, but then I can be brutal. Comments (9)I love the sound of your sandwiches, Glenda. You had quite a spread today and everything sounds so good. I'd love some homemade applesauce. How was that hot corn dip? I have Trisha Yearwood's recipe but haven't been anyplace to take it--and I sure don't need that temptation around :-) Everyone raves over it, or so I hear....See MoreIt's going to be 90 deg. here today.

I asked about the online plants, if I could buy them there, the C&S conservatory staff didn't know anything about it (so, no). I believe the conservatory is only open on Saturdays. There is another massive greenhouse with tropical plants, elsewhere in the gardens. I agree, the art gallery is beautiful. I'm not as crazy about the Library, maybe because I can't really see in there, its so dim to protect the documents....See Morechispa
