I am not sure who is the seedling Queen today. There were several nice ones, but none that just knocked my socks off.

Ok, I have decided that this one is seedling Queen. It is actually our daughter's seedling. It is Cosmic Sensation X Absolute Ripper. It's a big flower on a good scape. It will be saved.

This is (dentity Crisis X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy) X (Back Draft X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy or Heman).

Maybe I should have named this one Queen. This was gorgeous its first year and then awful last year. Now it's back to gorgeous. Bob loves it. It will be saved.

I like this one. It is Triple Cherries X (Wolverine X On Your Knees You Will Find Him). The sun was at an angle, which made it hard to get the true color.

The scape on this one was very short (first year to bloom). I hope it gets taller. This is Wolverine X (Sea of Cinders X Happy Holidays to You).

That is a gorgeous clump of Lava Flow! And hard to pick a favorite of the seedlings,,,maybe the 3rd and the last one. Nice job!

My favorites are your "Queen" neon orange seedling, and your clump of Lava Flow....... I agree with your comment on Lighter then Air.................Maryl

You can’t miss Lava Flow! It just glows, doesn’t it? The seedlings all look good but Bob’s neon orange really stands out! Is the Identity Crisis seedling as large as it looks?

I always like Pumpkin Prince, and that clump of Lava Flow is glorious. I love your daughter's toothy purple, and I also like that flaming orange seedling you said was considered for seedling queen. Maybe you need to start naming a king as well as a queen - maybe even a full royal court. Don't hold back. You have so many nice seedlings!

You know me...short or not, I really like that bloom...it could go on the front row. Your daughter's seedling is a pretty one, and I like the second one, red with the white midribs. The Lava Flow clump loos great, how could it not? Pumpkin Prince is pretty. And, by the way, Extreme Tangerine has put up a couple of scapes.

Kay, post a picture of Extreme Tangerine when it blooms. I am glad it will bloom for you this season.

Now Nancy, you know I will post a photo. I am very pleased it decided to send up a couple of scapes. I always pot and let them recover and build roots before I put them in the ground, but it didn't slow down. Understand it is a tough plant because some bratty little creature, raccoon or dog, dug it out and tossed it aside a couple of days after it was planted. I replanted it and it never lost a step.

I'm glad to hear it's proving to be a tough one. We know how it performs here, but you can't be sure how it performs in other climates. Darn that critter, though. We have had that happen too.
